Temples desecrated near Ranchi, protesters block NH for 9 hours

An angry mob in Ranchi district blocked two roads for nine hours to protest the desecration of four places of worship by anti-social elements. The mob demanded the arrest and punishment of the culprits, assistance from the state in rebuilding the temples, and security personnel at the religious sites. The protest was withdrawn after the administration agreed to their demands. Police have obtained vital clues about the culprits and are taking action.
