Karnataka home minister acknowledges 'serious lapse' in Darshan jail photo and video leak; senior IPS officers to investigate

The Karnataka government suspended nine prison officials after photos emerged of actor Darshan, in judicial custody for murder, smoking and socialising with notorious rowdies in Bengaluru Central Prison. A video also showed Darshan making a call from prison. The suspended officials include chief and assistant superintendents. Investigations are ongoing to probe these irregularities further.
