Five of family from Salem found dead in parked car

Five members of a Salem family were found dead in a car near Namanasamudram on the Trichy-Karaikudi National Highway. The deceased include Manikandan, his wife, mother, daughter, and son. Initial investigations indicate they may have poisoned themselves due to financial pressures in Manikandan's metal business. Police are conducting further inquiries.
