Dahisar teen’s Diwali gift: Costly wireless pacemaker

A team of doctors at Sion hospital in Mumbai managed to secure a costly wireless pacemaker for 13-year-old Chandni Gaud at no cost, addressing her recurrent pacemaker infections. The Rs 7 lakh device and additional Rs 1 lakh required equipment were provided for free after appealing to Medtronic India Limited and contributions from the medical team’s relatives.
