Tragedy struck near Hyderabad as a car carrying six friends plunged into a lake, leaving five dead. Sole survivor Manikanta escaped by breaking the windshield after the driver, Vamshi, lost control. The group, from LB Nagar, had been on a joyride and were reportedly en route to buy toddy early Saturday morning when the accident occurred in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
