Child falls into septic tank at private school in Tamil Nadu, dies

In Villupuram, a 5-year-old kindergarten student from St Mary's Matriculation Higher Secondary School died after falling into a rusted, covered septic tank. Her parents and relatives suspect foul play and protested, demanding an investigation. Three teachers were arrested, and the Chief Minister announced a solatium of Rs 3 lakh for her family. A detailed probe is underway.
