Curfew imposed in Meghalaya village after RKM school vandalised
Monday, 20 January 2025 A curfew was imposed in Mawkynrew village after the Ramakrishna Mission School's under-construction building was vandalised. Conflicts arose as protesters against the school's construction claimed the land was originally meant for a playground. Police intervened to manage the situation and maintain law and order.
