Friday, 14 February 2025 A court in Goa has convicted Vikat Bhagat for the 2017 rape and murder of Irish-British citizen Danielle McLaughlin. A tragic stampede at the Lairai Devi temple in Goa’s Shirgao village claimed six lives and left around 80 injured during the fire-walking ritual of the Lairai Zatra festival.
