'Longest digital arrest': 'Fearful and isolated' Nainital professor trapped for 18 days In house, duped of Rs 47 lakh

A 25-year-old man from Agra has been arrested for defrauding a Nainital professor of Rs 47 lakh using a digital house arrest scam. The longest known digital arrest in Uttarakhand, the victim was manipulated over 18 days, transferring funds under the scammer's threats.
