E-cigarettes, lighters, power banks, knives: What’s the most-seized check-in bag item at Bengaluru airport?

Air travellers are advised to carry power banks only in their hand luggage due to the risk of fire from lithium ion batteries. Kempegowda International Airport seized over 1,412 kg of power banks, along with other items like lighters and e-cigarettes, from checked baggage between January last year and February this year.
