'Case being handled with significant attention': Belgium govt on Mehul Choksi
Wednesday, 26 March 2025 Belgian authorities are closely tracking fugitive Indian businessman Mehul Choksi's case as he reportedly left Antigua for medical treatment, while retaining his Antiguan citizenship. Reports suggest Choksi is in Antwerp with his wife and may use forged documents to acquire Belgian residency. Indian and Antiguan governments continue to cooperate on the case.
Belgian court rules Flanders government should stop transit of military equipment to Israel
Associations lodged a complaint against the Flemish government in June after military equipment bound for Israel was discovered in the port of Antwerp.
