564 MLD wastewater plant in Okhla ready, to help clean Yamuna

Delhi's Okhla wastewater treatment facility, a 564 MLD project by Delhi Jal Board, is now fully operational, benefiting 40 lakh residents. Water Minister Parvesh Verma highlighted the plant's role in cleaning the Yamuna and transforming Delhi into a sustainable capital. The facility also generates green energy and produces Class-A sludge for use as organic fertilizer.
