Domestic help, 2 co-accused get life term for 2014 murder of Maharashtra’s ex-child rights panel chief
Sunday, 18 May 2025 () Nearly 11 years after the gruesome murder of advocate Meenakshi Jaiswal, the Panvel sessions court has sentenced three individuals to life imprisonment for their involvement in the crime. Jaiswal, a former chairperson of the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, was found dead in her Kharghar flat in December 2014, with her throat slit and fingers severed.
