Thursday, 5 June 2025 The Calcutta High Court granted interim bail to social media influencer Sharmishtha Panoli, arrested for allegedly hurting religious sentiments through an Instagram video. The court instructed the state to provide basic amenities to Panoli while in custody and restrained authorities from filing new FIRs on the same grounds.
