Kharghar murder-suicide: Pakistani man ‘kills wife, self’; family was set to return home
Tuesday, 10 June 2025 () In Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, a 45-year-old Pakistani man, Notan Das, is suspected of fatally stabbing his 35-year-old wife, Sapna Das, also a Pakistani national, before dying by suicide in their rented flat. The couple, in India on a long-term visa with their two minor children, were reportedly preparing to return to Pakistan. The incident was discovered by their younger child. Sapna had previously refused to file a complaint after an alleged assault by her husband last month.
