Summons sent to lawyer for his role as co's ind dir: ED
Saturday, 21 June 2025 () The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned senior advocate Pratap Venugopal, an independent director at Care Health Insurance Ltd (CHIL), as part of a money laundering investigation into alleged irregularities in ESOP issuance. The summons was later withdrawn following protests from lawyers' bodies, with the ED stating future document requests would be made via email.
