Pune's first digital planetarium launched at AVEMHS: Advanced sky shows for students; general public access from September
Sunday, 10 August 2025 () Pune's inaugural digital planetarium, the Dr. Nanasaheb Upasani Planetarium, has opened at Abhinava Vidyalaya, Kothrud. Equipped with the advanced ‘Digistar 2025' system, it offers immersive celestial experiences and educational programs. Currently accessible to schools and colleges, it will welcome the public from September. The planetarium features full-dome projection and a 50-seat capacity, promising engaging science and astronomy education.
