Several areas across Mumbai receive over 150 mm of rain in 10 hours; according to the BMC, the city recorded 107.94 mm of rainfall, with the Eastern suburbs receiving 111.86 mm, and the Western suburbs 121.95 mm, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) upgraded Monday`s Orange Alert for Mumbai to a Red Alert
