Kolkata Metro expansion: Smallest of 3 new links to act as biggest game changer for city's commute; East-West line to finally run end-to-end

Kolkata is set to witness a major boost in its metro connectivity. The entire stretch from Sector V to Howrah Maidan may open soon. Prime Minister will inaugurate the Esplanade-Sealdah section. Passenger services are expected to commence immediately after the inauguration. Other new routes are likely to be operational from Monday.
