In Thane, two quick-thinking youths bravely rescued two individuals trapped in a submerged car at the waterlogged Nilje-Ghesar railway underpass. The car became stranded during severe flooding, prompting the youths to swim into the murky water and stabilize the vehicle, enabling the occupants to escape.
