Vehicular traffic on the old Yamuna Bridge (Loha Pul) was suspended, worsening traffic chaos. Residents were evacuated to safer zones, though some relief camps like those near Mayur Vihar Phase 1 also faced flooding. Shopkeepers in Monastery Market closed shops for 4–5 days, fearing water damage.
