Dramatic arrest in Kannauj: SP leader Kaish Khan found hiding wrapped in a mattress - police video goes viral
Friday, 5 September 2025 () Kaish Khan, a Samajwadi Party leader and former treasurer, was apprehended in Kannauj for violating a banishment order. Authorities had instructed Khan to remain outside the district limits on July 28. Acting on a tip, Kotwali police discovered him concealed in the loft of his residence.
Addressing a public rally in Kashi, Prime Minister Modi called the PM-Kisan scheme a testament to the BJP government's honest delivery, highlighting how ₹3.75 lakh crore was directly transferred to farmers without any cuts or commissions.
