European Union official from Sweden is imprisoned in Iran for more than 500 days

A Swedish citizen working for the European Union has been imprisoned in Iran for over 500 days. The arrest was part of Iran's "hostage diplomacy" strategy, where they detain individuals to extract concessions from the West. The detainee, Johan Floderus, was a European official and had visited Iran on a private tourist trip.
