An investigation by the Guardian has revealed that companies associated with Rishi Sunak's wife, Akshata Murty, received nearly $2.4 million in investments from the UK government's Future Fund, which was launched to support startups during the Covid-19 pandemic. Critics have raised concerns about transparency and potential conflicts of interest, as well as the effectiveness of the scheme, as many of the companies that received loans failed or were unlikely to repay the debt.
