IndiaTimes Wednesday, 20 December 2023
Thailand's election winner Pita Limjaroenrat is confident of receiving justice as he gives evidence in a court case. The Constitutional Court is examining whether Pita, the former leader of the Move Forward Party, violated rules prohibiting parliament members from owning shares in media companies. If the court rules against him, he could be disqualified from parliament. Pita, who was blocked from becoming prime minister due to opposition to his reform agenda, believes in the truth and hopes to work for the people.
