UN envoy warns against Syria collapse at crisis talks

In Aqaba, UN envoy Geir Pedersen urged international cooperation to prevent the collapse of Syrian institutions after the fall of Bashar al-Assad. Pedersen and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, attending a conference on the Syrian crisis, emphasized a "credible and inclusive" political process for forming the next government and ensuring humanitarian aid access.
