Taiwan’s defence ministry says 62 soldiers found with Chinese residency permits

Taiwan's defence ministry has confirmed that 62 active-duty soldiers possess residency permits for China, raising concerns about potential security risks and divided loyalties within the military. In response, Taiwan's defence minister stated that these service members will be restricted from handling classified information.
