Report: Insect Decline Could be 'Catastrophic' Across the Globe
A new study reveals… the number of insects around the world are declining.????A decline researchers say could be “catastrophic."????The University of Sydney, Queensland and China Academy of Agricultural Sciences conducted the study.????According to CNN… researchers looked at insect behavior over the past 30 years.????The study found 40% of insects around the world could die out in the coming decades.????Also CNN reports… the bug biomass is decreasing about 2.5% every year.

????The effect… the report says the extinction would be quote “"catastrophic to say the least… "the structural and functional base of many of the world's ecosystems since their rise ... almost 400 million years ago."????the report, however did find that some insects were increasing throughout the planet.
