Jeff Goldblum Receives Backlash for Defending Woody Allen.
In a recent interview with 'i News,' Goldblum came out in defense of Woody Allen.
Allen, who was accused of sexual assault by his adoptive daughter in 1992, has been treated as a pariah in Hollywood ever since.
Goldblum, who worked with Allen in 1977 on ‘Annie Hall,’ said he believed there should be a “presumption of innocence” when it came to the accusations.
I think there is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty … I know I enjoyed working with him many years ago and I sat in with his band once too, Jeff Goldblum, to ‘i News’.
Even though I feel like this cultural shift [the #MeToo movement] is very, very positive and long overdue and I support it wholeheartedly and take it very seriously, I also admire his body of work, Jeff Goldblum, to ‘i News’.
Goldblum would even like to work with Allen again.
So I would consider working with him, until I learned something more, Jeff Goldblum, to ‘i News’
