Delhi Police Traffic ACP killed in hit-and-run while on duty

An Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of the Delhi Traffic Police died in an accident on Saturday while on duty.

Incident took place on the night of July 25.

The cop has been identified as ACP Sanket Kaushik.

The accident occurred when ACP Sanket was managing traffic at Rajokri flyover in the national capital, police said.

ACP Kaushik was rushed to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Trauma Centre, police added.

However, on arrival, ACP Kaushik was declared dead by the doctors.

Accused has not been identified yet.

A case has been registered and police is investigating the matter.
