A tiny island just off the coast of Cape Cod that has been off limits to the public for more than 300 years.

Now, the 24 acre 'Sipson Island' has been opened to the public.

The newly minted Sipson Island Trust, with the help of a local non-profit, hopes to restore and care for the island.

The goal of the group is to restore the island's ecology, while supporting environmental and historical education.

Day trip visitors can enjoy hiking, beaches, snorkeling, and 360-degree views of the bay area.
