Migrant labourers, who had left for their native places during coronavirus lockdown, are being brought back by their employers to project sites in cities. "It's been four months, I have returned home due to coronavirus lockdown," said migrant labourer Dharmendra. "Don't want to leave family, but don't have another option, in Maharashtra we can earn better and save for our family," Dharmendra added, who work in a steel company. Subhash is also going back with Dharmendra along with their employer Shyam Kumar, who came all the way from Maharashtra to bring them back to work. "We are facing shortage of labourers, came here to take them with us," said Shyam Kumar.

Two chain snatchers got injured in a gunfight with police personnel at sector 58 area of Noida. They have received bullet injuries, the criminals have been admitted to hospital. "An incident of chain snatching took place in sector-58, our team was on ground. The criminals attacked our team, in the gunfight both criminals got injured. We have recovered two pistols and mobile phones form them. Both are residents of Delhi," informed Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Ran Vijay Singh.

In view of increasing footfall at Connaught Place, Delhi police carried out cycle patrolling to spread COVID-19 awareness. Assistant Commissioner of Police Connaught Place along with his team cycled to make sure people were maintaining social distancing and wearing masks. Delhi Police, in last one week, has filed around 416 challans in Connaught Place area. Challans were issued for violating COVID guidelines.
