Rescue operation is underway of stranded tourists in Manali.

Due to heavy snowfall over 500 tourists got stuck on the road between South Portal of Atal Tunnel and Solang Nalla.

Efforts are being made to restore vehicular traffic.

A taxi and 48-seater bus also moved to Kulang so that evacuated persons could be shifted.
