Bird Flu confirmed in 8 states and 1 UT: Delhi and Maharashtra confirm Avian Flu| Oneindia News

The Bird Flu menace is causing alarm in many states now.

Delhi and Maharashtra have confirmed bird flu after samples tested positive for avian influenza.

Besides Delhi and Maharashtra, the outbreak has been confirmed in Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

With this, eight states and a Union Territory have confirmed bird flu amid Centreโ€™s nationwide efforts to contain the spread.Amid an avian influenza scare in several states, nearly 200 birds have been found dead in Uttarakhand.
