Police release mugging CCTV after pensioner’s attacker is jailed
Police have released CCTV of an 89-year-old woman being mugged at a bus stopby an attacker who was arrested and charged within hours.
Kirsty Moxon knockedher victim to the ground, causing the pensioner to hit her head and break herarm, in the lunchtime attack in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, on TuesdayNovember 17 last year.
The mugger, wearing a coat with a thick hood, wascaptured on a pub’s CCTV camera, running away from the scene with the victim’shandbag and walking frame.
She got away with £300 and also took the woman’sbank cards and car keys.
West Bengal: CCTV visuals from Dream Guest House in Kolkata, where the two prime suspects of The Rameswaram Cafe blast case stayed from 25th March to 28th March using fake identity. Both accused have been sent to police custody for 10 days. Ashraf Ali, Receptionist at Dream Guest House, says "They came on 25th March and showed their Identity cards, and we provided them a room. They checked out from the Hotel on 28th March. When the officials from NIA arrived, they went through the entry register and started an investigation.

The National Investigation Agency, or NIA, has announced a cash reward of ₹10 lakh for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the suspected bomber involved in the March 1 Rameshwaram Cafe blast. The blast left at least 10 people injured in Brookfield, East Bengaluru, and the investigation was recently handed over to the NIA. The NIA has released CCTV camera footage of the suspect, revealing some key aspects of his identity.

At least nine people were injured in an explosion at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe on Friday. The blast occurred around 1:00 pm at the Whitefield branch of the cafe in the city’s Rajajinagar. Initially, it was speculated that a gas leak could have triggered the blast, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said it was an “improvised explosive” in a bag kept by an unidentified man. A day after an explosion at Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe, CCTV footage has emerged showing a man carrying a bag inside the cafe's premises.

Popular social media influencer Soumya Shetty, also known as Soumya Killampally, has been taken into custody by the authorities in connection with a gold theft case. The incident occurred at flat 102 of Balaji Metro Residency in the Dondaparthy area on February 23. The flat owner, Prasad Babu, lodged a complaint with the police, alleging the theft of 150 tolas of gold ornaments from his residence. Following the complaint, law enforcement initiated an investigation. The forensic team gathered fingerprints from the flat and scrutinised the CCTV footage. As a result of their findings, suspicion arose around eleven individuals, leading to the detention and questioning of three suspects.
