Rajnath Singh meets his South Korean counterpart Suh Wook, holds bilateral talks

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met his South Korean counterpart Suh Wook on Friday.

Wook is on a three-day visit to India to discuss India-South Korea defence cooperation.

Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat was also present during the bilateral talk.

Ahead of discussions, Wook was accorded the Guard of Honour at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.

An Indo-Korean Friendship Park was also jointly inaugurated by Wook and Singh in Delhi Cantt.

Earlier, Wook also visited the National War Memorial and paid homage to India's fallen heroes.

The Defence Ministry said the South Korean Minister will also travel to Agra during his visit.

South Korea has been a major supplier of weapons and military equipment to India.

In 2019, the nations finalised a roadmap for cooperation in production of land, naval systems.
