NRC won’t impact Gorkhas of India’: Amit Shah accuses TMC of spreading lies

Home Minister Amit Shah assured the Gorkha population that they would not be affected by the NRC.

Speaking in Kalimpong, ahead of Assembly polls on the 17th of April, Shah said that TMC has been spreading rumours about the NRC and said that not a single Gorkha would be asked to leave.

Shah also said that the CPM and the TMC had both been unjust to the region and said that the BJP would form an SIT to probe and punish those responsible for the killing of the local population in 1986 & the more recent Gorkhaland agitation.
