Podcast proceeds will benefit the talk show hosts' staff members who are currently out of work due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike.

All five of the late-night talk shows halted production after the WGA went on strike on May 2.

The Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) also went on strike two months later.

"Strike Force Five" is being sponsored by Mint Mobile and Diageo.
