In a recent development, following a report by the Canadian media outlet Globe and Mail, Indian authorities have pledged to investigate the Murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a prominent figure associated with the pro-Khalistan movement.
Comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Surrey, Canada, was attacked by Khalistani terrorists on July 9. At least nine shots were fired at the café in a shocking nighttime drive-by assault. No injuries were reported. Babbar Khalsa-linked terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi claimed responsibility, citing an old remark by Sharma. Laddi, wanted by the NIA for multiple killings, including a VHP leader, remains at large. The attack has reignited concerns over Khalistani extremists operating from Canadian soil with growing impunity.
