Cassie Breaks Silence Following Release of 2016 Diddy Assault Video | THR News Video

Cassie is finally speaking out following her allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs and the recent release of the 2016 video showing Combs physically assaulting her.

The singer took to Instagram on Thursday to express gratitude for the support she has received in recent weeks and months saying, "The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning.

Domestic Violence is THE issue.

It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become.

With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past."
