Kremlin announces Ukraine ceasefire to coincide with World War II 'Victory Day'
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the full cessation of hostilities on “humanitarian grounds” for Victory Day, which is marked on 9 May, according to the Kremlin.

In this latest update, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov slams Ukraine for showing no sign of readiness to engage in direct negotiations with Russia.
