Walton Goggins Opens Up About the Long Wait to Film That 'White Lotus' Scene | THR News Video
Walton Goggins says he waited six months (and seven hours) to film that highly anticipated scene during Sunday's episode of 'The White Lotus.'

Goggins told The Hollywood Reporter that the apparent culmination of his antihero's journey โ where his character Rick confronts the man he believes killed his father โ wasn't filmed until almost the very end of the Thailand shoot, and the relief on his face at the end of the episode is as much his own as it is Rick's.

We now know when 'The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum' will hit theaters, as well as the release dates for two other Warner Bros. movies. Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema revealed that Andy Serkis' 'The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum' will open in cinemas on December 17th, 2027. Andy Serkis will both direct the movie and star in it. Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens โ the Oscar-winning team behind the blockbuster 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' trilogies โ are producing the film. Walsh and Boyens are also among the film's writers.
