Israel has launched a new offensive in Gaza, codenamed Operation Gideonâs Chariots, aiming to defeat Hamas and reclaim hostages. The IDF has conducted extensive bombing and troop mobilization in strategic areas. Reports indicate plans to âconquerâ the entire enclave and relocate Palestinians southward. Over 115 Palestinians were killed on Friday alone, according to Al Jazeera. The offensive follows the breakdown of a US-Egypt-Qatar-brokered ceasefire in March. Since the war began after Hamas' October 7 attack, more than 53,000 Palestinians have died, with human rights groups accusing Israel of genocide.
