Clarkson recently postponed four August shows of her Studio Sessions residency in Las Vegas due to Blackstock falling ill.

The family later put out a statement about his passing, writing 'It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away, Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years.

He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.

We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time.'

Disney and Lucasfilm settle lawsuit with actress Gina Carano over The Mandalorian firing Carano, who played the recurring character Cara Dune on the hit Disney+ series, was let go from the show in 2021.

The actress accused the company of discrimination and wrongful termination, alleging that her firing was due to her expression of right-wing views on social media.

She later pursued legal action against Disney and Lucasfilm where the two sides stipulated in federal court.

Lucasfilm released a statement following settlement, saying 'With this lawsuit concluded, we look forward to identifying opportunities to work together with Ms. Carano in the near future.'
