Great British Railways (GBR) is the planned national railway company of Great Britain, and a state-owned enterprise that will function under the control of the British government. Headquartered in Derby, GBR will be responsible for most rail transport in Great Britain except for Transport for London, Merseyrail, ScotRail, Transport for Wales Rail, light rail and tram services.
