Matt Everard is a rugby union coach and former professional player. He is currently Defence Coach at Leicester Tigers for the 2023/24 season. He previously worked in a coaching role at Wasps RFC, after retiring from playing for Nottingham in 2017 where he was captain, and played in the back row. He was previously the director of rugby for Long Eaton RFC where he was assisted by former Nottingham teammates Murray McConnell and Tom Holmes.
