Tom Cruise has backed the ongoing Hollywood actors' strike with his considerable influence. The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) had a Zoom conference, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Cruise made a surprise appearance. The actor came out strongly against artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing impact in the TV and digital content era.
