SRK breaks Akshay's box office record

Shah Rukh Khan has broken Akshay Kumar's 2019 box office record by collecting Rs 860 crore with his films "Pathaan" and "Jawan." "Pathaan" earned approximately Rs 544 crores across all versions, while "Jawan" made Rs 316 crores in just five days. Shah Rukh may also become the first Bollywood actor to achieve a net collection of over Rs 1000 crores in a single year with just two films. Akshay Kumar congratulated Shah Rukh on his success, and "Jawan" became the fastest Hindi movie to cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the global box office.
