Anurag Kashyap's film 'Kennedy' received a standing ovation at its India premiere at the MAMI Film Festival. Kashyap revealed that the character of Uday Shetty, played by Rahul Bhat, has stayed in his head for 20 years and is dedicated to Sudhir Mishra. The film combines real events from the 80s with the lockdown. Producer Shariq Patel expressed the need for support for festival films and confirmed a theatrical release for 'Kennedy'.
