With a total collection of 361.08 crore, the film has surpassed Ranbir Kapoor's previous highest grossing movie, 'Sanju'. Bobby Deol's portrayal of the fierce antagonist has also received high praise. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Animal' clashed with Vicky Kaushal starrer 'San Bahadur' at the box office as both the films arrived in theatres on December 1.
